| The
same kind of initiative and enthusiasm that animates
our classrooms serves as well to inspire the Bridgemont
Vikings in athletics. Bridgemont offers a place
for both the competitive athlete, as well as the
student who might not have played sports previously.
The athletic program aims to help each student
improve his or her skills as well as to develop
teams: groups of athletes whose collective efforts
are greater than the sum of their parts. And we
like to win, too.
Students satisfy the school's
Physical Activity Requirement either through interscholastic
athletics or through participation in the Athletic
Program. Physical fitness is a discipline and
a joy. We aim to cultivate both.
Bridgemont has sports
for Junior High and High School.
In Junior High we have co-ed
Volleyball, Basketball and Futsal. In High School
grades we have Boys' - Soccer, Basketball, Baseball
and Girls' - Volleyball, Basketball, Softball.

Thomas
DiTaranto
Head Coach

Attention
all Bridgemont student athletes and parents! We
are excited about the upcoming Fall/Winter sports
seasons. Our coaches are committed to providing
the best possible season. To make sure we accomplish
our goals we are going to need the commitment
of all of our student athletes as well as the
support of our parents. I would ask all parents
to speak with their kids respective coaches to
find out in what ways they can best support the
program. If there are any questions regarding
the upcoming seasons, please feel free to e-mail
the Athletic Director, Thomas DiTaranto, at tditaranto@Bridgemont.org.
God Bless and let's have a great season! |
